Objective

Our objective is to guarantee the continuity of the company by means of a healthy, profitable and strong financial base. Our stride for a successful company is expressed in permanent investment in quality and searching for a balance between our customers, employees, shareholders, business partners and, last but not least, the present day society.

Policy

By listening to customers and a pro-active attitude, SABA strives to continually improve the quality of their products, service and working conditions, and keep the strain on the environment to a minimum.
The SABA policy is aimed at running the company in a sustainable manner in accordance to the starting points stated in the “Responsible Care Global Charter" (see http://www.responsiblecare.org/).

The quality, working conditions and environmental policy are integrated parts of the SABA company policy. The design of the policy conforms to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and is recorded in procedures and working conditions. The effect, design and control of the policy is in principle a line responsibility and occurs during regular consultations on all levels. SABA is supported in this by external expertise. Tests are regularly carried out to see if the conditions and procedures are being observed and the determined goals being reached via periodic audits. If necessary actions are adapted or new ones initiated. The objectives to be achieved are annually revised on the basis of the results, the position of technique and new legislation.

The progress of the improvements and the degree to which objectives are reached are fed-back to all employees. SABA strives for an open and constructive relationship in their communication with all interested parties. SABA reports their intentions in the field of environment and the realisation of the environmental objectives in an annual environmental report.

SABA wants to create safe and healthy working conditions for all their employees. Together we want to develop and enlarge further the skills and capacities of every one of them. We ensure good communication with our employees by means of information and consultation procedures. SABA strives for a work sphere in which people may trust and respect one another and where everyone feels responsible for the results and reputation of the company.

At SABA, integrity, sincerity, openness and respect for the interests of business partners and society are considered of paramount importance. Integrity is essential to SABA activities and must never become secondary to the results. This policy is set down in the code of conduct maintained by all the employees.

Code of conduct

  1. SABA and their employees keep to the current legislation and instructions at all times. 

  2. SABA trades in accordance with the  principles of honest competition.

  3. SABA employs objective and careful  consideration when distributing orders or cooperating with suppliers, contractors and other business relations. SABA does not expect these business partners to damage the trust put in them.

  4. Promotional gifts and  related affairs are only given or received if they fall  within reasonable boundaries; They must never be in excess of € 100,- and must never be cash. Each and every request to differ from this rule must be rejected and reported to management. Promotional gifts received will be put up for raffle among al, the employees.

  5. The employees are expected to avoid personal activities and financial interests which could conflict with the interest of SABA. The employees are forbidden to aspire to personal gain by using their position at SABA.

  6. The employees at SABA are obligated to complete secrecy concerning all confidential company affairs, for as far as that is not in stride with a legal duty for disclosure. The confidentiality duty remains in force even after employment is terminated.

  7. Transactions on behalf of SABA must always be correctly laid down, conform the valid procedures, allow insight and be verifiable.  

  8. The code of conduct is not an optional affair; each SABA employee is obliged to follow this code of conduct and to report any breach to the company immediately. Suitable sanctions will be put into place when violated.
